Road Crash Barriers / Structure Galvanizing Line

A Road Crash Barriers / Structure Galvanizing Line is a fully engineered hot-dip galvanizing system used for providing superior corrosion protection to steel guardrails, highway crash barriers, structural components, poles, and heavy fabricated assemblies. These products are used in harsh outdoor conditions, which makes high-grade zinc coating essential for long-term durability and rust resistance.

At M.G. Furnaces, we manufacture and supply advanced galvanizing lines for road crash barriers and structural steel, built with latest technology, heavy-duty furnaces, and high-output production systems.

Our galvanizing lines ensure precise temperature control, uniform coating thickness, and compliance with international quality standards.

Road crash barriers and structural components are widely used in highways, bridges, flyovers, industrial zones, and public infrastructure. These structures face extreme weather conditions, moisture, road salts, pollution, and continuous wear. To ensure long-term stability and protection, they must undergo hot dip galvanizing.

Our Road Crash Barriers / Structure Galvanizing Line is specially designed to handle large, heavy, and long steel components, including:

  • W-Beam Crash Barriers
  • Thrie Beam Barriers
  • Highway Guardrails
  • Bridge Railings
  • Solar Structure Frames
  • Structural Steel Columns
  • Angle and Channel Fabrication
  • Poles and Tubular Structures
  • Heavy Fabricated Assemblies

⭐ Complete Setup of Road Crash Barrier Galvanizing Line

A standard galvanizing line consists of the following equipment:

1. Degreasing Tank

Removes oil, grease, dirt, and surface contaminants to prepare the steel for chemical processing.

2. Rinsing Tank

Ensures chemical-neutral surface preparation for consistent pickling.

3. Pickling Tank

Removes rust, scale, and oxidation from the steel surface, using controlled HCl or other acid solutions.

4. Second Rinsing Tank

Neutralizes and cleans the pickled steel surface.

5. Flux Tank

Applies a protective layer to prevent oxidation before entering the zinc bath.

6. Drying / Pre-heating Chamber

Removes moisture and preheats components to improve zinc adhesion.

7. Zinc Galvanizing Furnace with Kettle

The heart of the system where steel barriers are dipped into molten zinc at 440–460°C for coating formation.

8. Cooling / Quenching Tank

Stabilizes the coating and ensures safe handling after zinc dipping.

9. Fume Extraction & Pollution Control System

Captures fumes, emissions, and acid vapors to maintain a safe working environment.

10. Handling & Lifting Mechanism

  • Overhead crane system
  • Dipping beam
  • Conveyor/transfer system
  • Designed for long crash barriers up to 6–12 meters.
