This furnace is fitted with its own separate heavy duty oil cooled step down double copper wound transformer manufactured with high grade silicon stamping sheets provided with suitable steps for heat adjustment, fitted in rigid steel body with cooling fins mounted on four wheels with attractive color. (Without transformer oil.)
Furnace refractory shell rests upon a stand with electrode movements with the arrangements of rocking and tilting. The furnace refractory made of magnetic ramming mass for the higher temp. Up to 1800C Suitable for the melting of stainless and other alloy steels.
Graphite electrodes are used in this furnace shell from either and coincide with the horizontal axis inside the furnace as the electrodes are brought and touch each other, ARC is stuck between these electrodes and then electrodes can slowly be removed back from each other to maintain proper ARC length. The heat of the arc will be radiation and will reflect in all directions. In this furnace, the electrodes are also connected to the secondary of the step down transformer by heavy insulated flexible copper conductor. The main clumping will be water cooled.
The control panel will be provided with the furnace with under mentioned instruments eg instruments.
